Queer Eye Series 6

It’s been a while in the making, but the Queer Eye team are back and this time they are making their way across Texas, transforming the lives of local heroes. Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk and Tan France work their life changing skills to completely turn-around the lives of deserving Texans, from an individual going through gender transition, to a group of young people planning their high-school proms, get ready for tears and laughter galore in this new series!
The Lost Daughter
Genre: Film – Psycho-drama
The Lost Daughter is Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut and an adaptation of Elena Ferrante’s 2006 novel of the same name. When it premiered at Venice Film Festival, there followed a four-minute standing ovation and it also achieved a very rare 100% rating on popular movie review website, Rotten Tomatoes so we were expecting big things from this movie and weren’t disappointed! The Lost Daughter features an outstanding line-up including Olivia Coleman, Dakota Johnson and Jessie Buckley and the story follows a professor (Olivia Coleman) who’s vacation takes a dark turn when her obsession with a young mother forces her to confront the secrets of her own past.
Emily in Paris
Genre: Series – Romantic comedy
Emily in Paris is now in its second series and has been a massive hit in the UK with it recently being announced that there are already 3rd and 4th series’ planned! In this charming depiction, we follow Chicago born-and-bred girl Emily, who has been given the opportunity to follow her dreams of becoming a marketing guru in Paris by working for a sister agency in the city. Along the way there are calamities, romances and some extremely funny situations! Think this decade’s Ugly Betty, but better.
Did you know? Emily Cooper’s character is played by the daughter of Phil Collins – Lily Collins.
