The Isle of Wight Radio Local Hero Awards 2017
Last year, some very special members of our community were recognised and praised for their inspirational actions, including Overall Local Hero of 2016, John Cattle (right with Wightfibre CEO, John Irvine). Youth sports hero, John was overwhelmed by the nomination for Isle of Wight Radio’s Local Hero Awards, let alone winning the award and it’s these selfless, enthusiastic individuals that the awards have been designed to celebrate.
This year the awards are back and we are extremely proud to be sponsoring them again. Nominations for the awards will be open soon and we strongly encourage you to enter someone who has made a significant difference to you, your family and friends or like John Cattle, the community in general.
