Your Future Careers, Education and Job Fair

This Thursday (27th October 2016), Wightfibre will again be offering support, help and guidance to those considering a career in the world of network communications at the Your Future – Careers, Education and Jobs Fair. The event is hosted by Isle of Wight Council in partnership with The Isle of Wight College, everyone is welcome from 11am – 3pm and it is free to attend.

At the event, you will be able to meet representatives from Universities including Bournemouth, Chichester, Southampton, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Winchester and more. The representatives will be on hand to answer any questions you have about University, from how to create a great application to which course would be most suitable for your future aspirations.

If University isn’t the route you’re looking to take, then there are plenty of other options to choose from to increase your knowledge and skills for your career path. You may want to consider an apprenticeship, traineeship or work placement, if you are unsure which would suit you the best or don’t know where to start, then you are not alone and there will be an abundance of help on hand.

If you’re busting to get out to work, then there will also be local and national businesses attending the fair and it is a great opportunity for you to find out what employers are looking for and more about the various roles that you may see advertised. From being an activity co-ordinator, chef or beautician to becoming a plumber or musician, you will be hard pushed to find a sector that isn’t in attendance to help with your questions.
