Thursday, December 19th sees the third Star Wars Charity Premiere VIP event and screening to be hosted by WightFibre in aid of UKSA at Cineworld, Newport – marking the release of Star Wars IX: The Rise of Skywalker and an event not to be missed.

The surviving Resistance faces the First Order once more as Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron’s journey continues. With the power and knowledge of generations behind them, the final battle commences. The film is the third instalment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, following Abrams’s The Force Awakens (2015) and Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi (2017), and is the final episode of the nine-part Skywalker saga.

This is the 3rd time WightFibre are hosting an Star Wars Event with previous events taking place in 2015 and 1017. Once again WightFibre are pleased and proud to announce that the official charity for the Isle of Wight Star Wars Premiere will be  UKSA!

UKSA enhance the lives of young people through providing transformation water-based experiences and education. With a focus on development programmes, schools and groups and professional maritime career training. In other words, giving people transformation opportunities for a better life, whether on or off the water.

The exclusive event will be taking place at Cineworld in Newport. A select audience will be in attendance to raise money for UKSA. There will also be a charity auction and raffle held.
