£3058 Raised For UKSA At Star Wars Premiere
On Thursday the 17th of December, two hundred and ten people joined WightFibre and UKSA at Cineworld, Newport for The Official WightFibre Star Wars ‘The Force Awakens’ Charity Premiere in aid of UKSA.
UKSA are a youth charity that use sailing and watersports to transform young people’s lives. Their youth development and maritime training courses deliver valuable new skills to young people that may otherwise struggle to get any experience.
Through a combination of pre and post event donations and a charity auction conducted by Rex Gully of Hose Rhodes Dickson Fine Art Auctioneers, WightFibre have collected a total of £3058.15 for UKSA, which was formerly presented to CEO Ben Willows on Thursday 21st January. The amount is set to rise even more over the coming weeks as further Gift Aid commitments are added to the total.
